Our Story Begins In Tasmania
In October 1976, Harry and Angela Chung opened a new Chinese restaurant in Kingston. They spent more than 6 months having the butcher’s shop previously on the site completely remodelled and enlarged. This restaurant specialises in southern Chinese Cantonese style food and can cater up to 50 at a time. For 35 years, Harry and Angela Chung worked extremely hard in the restaurant, serving great, reliable Chinese food to the local.
In 2011, upon retirement, they sold their beloved restaurant to their employee. Today,the head chef continue the execution of their philosophies in food and service. Now, for more than 40 years, Chopstick continue the tradition of serving Chinese cuisine in comfortable surrounding alongside warm friendly service. Our history also seen us have been privileged to serve people over many generations.
